There are various tags , and . What's the correct usage for each tag?

  • Is the tag for anything dealing with a website?
  • Is the tag anything dealing with data communications and the architecture?
  • Is the tag dealing with wait, I actually not sure this tag deals with anything, it looks meta to me.

I just noticed there's also an online tag. Not sure what that tag means either. The only one of these tags that makes sense to me is website. – Zuly Gonzalez Feb 11 '12 at 3:51

I think you have nailed the first 2 tags.

The last tag would probably be just a generic tag for all things related to web participation such as participation in Social Networks such as Facebook, or Twitter, Distribution of files and actually having a .

It is possible that might actually be redundant in favor of more specific tags, but the questions in this category will have to be looked at carefully.

To my way of thinking the internet is far broader than website. So for a startup an "internet marketing strategy" might include having a website but it could also include social media like Facebook, Twitter etc.

SO I think we need at least two tags. I don't like web and website as the only two tags, too similar and confusing. It would be better to use website and internet.
